Springs
The kit includes springs with varying strengths:
-
Red Spring: Strong
-
Yellow Spring: Standard (Recommended for the sear spring)
-
White Spring: Soft (Recommended for the reset spring)
Tip: Feel free to mix and match springs to achieve your desired trigger feel. Spring caps can be used to adjust spring power for a hardened feel.
Starting Recommendation:
-
Use the Yellow spring for the sear spring.
-
Use the White spring for the reset spring.
-
Pair these with your sear of choice.
Feel free to mix and match springs to achieve your desired trigger feel.
Spring caps can be used to increase the power of the spring, providing a hardened feel. This is primarily for those who prefer a heavier OEM trigger feel.
Note:
-
Using spring caps with an overly heavy setup may cause in-game issues, such as the gun jumping around or acting glitchy.
The rear stop replaces the rear pin and foam to provide a firm wall/stop feel after the break.
-
Rear Stop: Hard, precise stop with minimal overtravel.
-
Pin & Foam: Softer, "mushy" feel after the break.
Final Adjustments
Once the trigger feels the way you prefer, go in-game to the hut settings and adjust the sensitivity. Reduce the sensitivity setting by a few numbers below the "full pull" threshold for optimal performance.
Calibration & Final Adjustments
-
Adjust in-game sensitivity settings in the hut menu.
-
Reduce sensitivity slightly below the "full pull" threshold for improved performance.
THUMB REST INSTALL:
Tools:
1 x 2mm Allen Key
1 x Pliers/Nut Driver, or equivalent to hold a 3mm nut
Materials:
1 x Thumb Rest Print
1 x 35mm Bolt
1 x 3mm Nylon Nut
Take the Thumb Rest Print and pop it onto the left side over the Take Down Lever.
Take the bolt and slide it from the right side (Opposite side of the Take Down Lever) of the handset, using the nylon nut with pliers to hold it, and tighten it with a 2mm Allen key. Note: the screw may need some force to turn into the nylon nut, this will help prevent it from coming loose.
